Obituary

Uxbridge: Pandi Duni, 91, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his loving wife of 67 years, Ksanthipi (Shore) Duni; 3 children Eli, Ferdinant (Maksi) and Matilda; 8 grandchildren Suela, Mimoza, Iljon, Nasiol, Denisa, Dhimitri, Redina, and Ilir; 4 great-grandchildren Angelo, Aleksa, Theodor and Maison; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

Pandi was born in Albania, son of the late Ilo and Eftali (Tona) Duni. He graduated from Vithkuq High School in Albania and proudly served his country in the Albanian military and worked as a manager of a local farm for many years. In 1999 he came and joined his son in America. He enjoyed dancing, singing, listening to music and reading. He was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A Trisagion service will be held at 6:30 p.m. during the calling hours. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 8th at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church 535 Salisbury St. Worcester. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery in Worcester.
