Obituary

Worcester: Odete de Assis, 70, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at UMASS Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. She leaves behind 3 sons- Lourival Oliveira, Luciano Oliveira and his wife Mycheline, Leonardo Oliveira and his wife Bruna; a daughter Ana Cristina Oliveira and her husband Jaime Viana. A wonderful grandmother to all seven grandchildren- Thiago, Camila, Sabrina, Sarah, Maria Luiza, Steven Jr., and Joshua.

Odete was born on July 1st, 1952 in Sobralia, MG, Brazil . She came to the United States in 2000. She was known as a loving, caring and dedicated vovo (grandmother) to so many children she cared for. Vovo Dete certainly left her print on all of their hearts and so many others. She was the happiest when she was surrounded by her family and that is how she left this world.
