Obituary

Auburn - Norma E. (MacNutt) Wiles, 81, passed away peacefully at home with her husband and children at her side Monday, November 22, 2010.


She leaves her husband of 60 years, Norman M. Wiles; her son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence N. and Gail E. Wiles of Holden; her daughter and son-in-law, Debra A. and Scott J. Butler of Oxford. Her daughter, Cynthia A. (Wiles) Dubrule, died in 2003. Norma also leaves five grandchildren, Thomas J. Butler, Daniel J. Butler, Brian R. Wiles, Elizabeth K. Wiles, and Megan S. Butler; two brothers, Homer E. MacNutt and Robert A. MacNutt and his wife Elaine; two brothers-in-law, Robert Wiles and Barry Wiles and his wife Cheryl; a son-in-law and his wife, Ron and Maggie Dubrule; and nephews and nieces.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Evelyn (Armstrong) and Homer E. MacNutt, Sr. Norma was a graduate of Holden High School Class of 1948. She was a purchasing assistant at Norton Company for 30 years, retiring in 1989.

Services will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, on Saturday, November 27, 2010, with a calling hour from 9:00-10:00 a.m. and a funeral at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to UMass Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln St., Worcester MA 01605.
