Norma C. Hartwell, 84, passed away on April 8, 2026 in The Coleman House of Northborough. She leaves numerous cousins and extended family members.

Norma was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Sidney and Gladys (Hansen) Hartwell. She graduated from Commerce High School and earned an Associate’s Degree from Assumption College. Norma was employed many years by the City of Worcester including the Worcester Fire Department and the Worcester Public Library. She was working at the Greendale Branch of the library when she retired. Norma was previously a member of Highland Street Lutheran Church and is currently a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir. Norma’s favorite things to do were spending time with her cat Katrina, trips to the coast of Maine (sitting at Nubble Light by the ocean) and gatherings with family both at home and in Cape Cod.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 in the Chapel at Trinity Lutheran Church 73 Lancaster St. Worcester, MA 01609, with a calling hour from 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
