Obituary

Worcester - Norma M. (Gustavson) Ahlberg, 76, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011, at Beaumont of Worcester. She leaves her husband of 56 years, Kenneth H. Ahlberg; her daughter Lynne Ahlberg Boyd and her husband David Boyd of Jefferson; three grandsons, Ronnie Kupfer, Jason Kupfer, and Kristopher Dufault; five great-grandchildren, Kyrsten DuBois, Kadin Dufault, Jason, Johnathan, and Travis Kupfer; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kirsten I. Ahlberg, and two sisters, Elsie Sjoblad and Vivian Johnson.

Norma was born in Worcester, daughter of Irenes and Helen (Karlsson) Gustavson. She was a graduate of North High School. As a child, Norma enjoyed being a member of the Rainbow Girls. She was a member of the Worcester Swedish Folk Dance Club and Vasa Order of America, Nordic Lodge #611 and a life member of the Scandinavian Athletic Club. Norma loved to read and enjoyed listening to Scandinavian and polka music.
