Obituary

Worcester - Nancy "Hoppy" H. (Sundquist) Gullberg, 81, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011, in the Millbury Healthcare Center. She was born in New Britain, CT, daughter of Nancy (Hedberg) and Bror Sundquist. She was a graduate of South High School in Worcester. She worked as a masseuse and massage therapist at Bancroft Health, the YWCA, and the JCC. She was active at the Auburn Senior Center and a member of the Red Hats.
She was preceded in death by her long time companion Maurice "Moe" Bray. She leaves two daughters, Nancy Nuzzolilo and her husband Edward Storonsky of Worcester , Buffy Linda Gullberg-Williams and her husband Eddie P. Williams of Mt. Vernon, WA; and son, Ronald Gullberg of Southbridge, 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a large extended family and many close friends.
Nancy donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Program at the UMass Medical School. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the family's convenience. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
