Obituary

Boylston - Nancy H. (Clason) Hamel, 102, passed away Monday, April 4, 2011. Born in Worcester, she was a daughter of Johanna W. (Hultrgren) and Carl A. Clason. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred J. Hamel (1964) and her sister Dorothy C. Miller (2006).

She was a graduate of Commerce High School and member of Zion Lutheran Church. She worked at Mass Protective Ins. Co. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Mrs. Hamel was Boylston's oldest living resident since 2008, when the Gold Cane was presented to her.

Burial was in All Faiths Cemetery. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester directed arrangements.
