Obituary

Shrewsbury - Mildred E. (Anderson) Funke, 99, passed away peacefully at Auburn Life Care Center on Friday, April 6, 2012. She was the widow of Bertil T. Funke (d. 1965). Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Anna C. (Erickson) and David Anderson. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and worked as a secretary at Union Station. She resided in Shrewsbury for 55 years prior to moving to Auburn in 2007. One sister and three brothers predeceased her. She is survived by two nieces and two nephews.

The graveside Funeral Service will be held at All Faiths Cemetery, 9 Island Road, 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, April 10. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street is directing arrangements.
