Obituary

Worcester: Michael Hatstat, 65, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus. He leaves behind 4 nephews, Billy Cates and his wife Kristyna, Bruce Cates, Jacob Fortier and Kody Picard as well as two nieces Laura Cates and her spouse Bryan, Miranda Fortier and her spouse Giancarlos; 2 brothers Bruce Hatstat and James Fortier; and many grand nieces, grand nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by several siblings.

Mike was born in Worcester, son of the Bruce Hatstat and Patricia Fortier. He graduated from high school and worked as a general contractor in the construction industry for many years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
