Obituary

Merton P. Jacobson, 88, of Oakham, died Friday, June 16, 2006, at Saint Vincent Hospital. His wife, Muriel E. (Bodge) died in 1980. He was born in Worcester, son of Carl P. and Ellen (Ekstrom) Jacobson. He was a member of Greendale People's Church and was a truck driver and mechanic. He is survived by his son, Andrew W. Jacobson of Auburn. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 20, at 1:00 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. After cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family.
