Meredyth L. Nelson

Meredyth L. (Knox) Nelson, 91, of 5 Briarwood Terrace died peacefully in her sleep at Knollwood Nursing Center at Briarwood on Tuesday (12-1-20) evening.

Mrs. Nelson graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester MA and worked for State Mutual Insurance Company for 9 years.

Her husband, Howard Nelson, passed away in October of 2011 at Knollwood Nursing Center at Briarwood.

She leaves two sons, Jonathan Nelson of Oxford MA, & Matthew Nelson of Grafton MA, four grandchildren, and nephews and nieces.

Born in Worcester, she was a daughter of Lester Knox & Dorothy Knox Grenier. and was a
member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

Meredyth was an avid gardener and enjoyed the satisfaction of maintaining & watching her garden flourish as spring turned to summer and to fall.

Celebration of life services will be held on 12-7-20 in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. in Worcester MA with calling hours from 10-11:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. The burial will follow at All Faiths Cemetery in Worcester, MA.
