Obituary

May-Britt (Schultzberg) Granquist, 85, of Arbutus Road, died on Sunday, March 19, 2006, at home. She leaves her husband of 58 years, Carl O. Granquist; 2 sons, Robert and his wife Elena of Brookline and Russell and his wife Leslie of Charlton; a brother, Gosta H. Schultzberg of Uxbridge; a granddaughter, Melissa; and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Sweden, daughter of J. Helmer and Thyra (Langer) Schultzberg. She was a 1938 graduate of Commerce High School. Mrs. Granquist worked for 30 years in banking, the last 14 at WCIS as Senior Savings Bank Life Insurance Representative, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and its church council, and the Swedish Folk Dance Club. She was a square and round dancer since 1961.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, at 11:00 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, 41 Whitmarsh Ave. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of Zion Lutheran Church. For on-line guestbook, please visit:
