Obituary

East Greenwich, RI—Martha Anderson, 93 of East Greenwich, RI, formerly of Worcester, a doting aunt, sister and daughter, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2006, at her sister's home in East Greenwich. Miss Anderson was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she had taught Sunday school and been a choir member. Miss Anderson retired after a lifelong career with Norton Company of Worcester, MA. She served many charities over the years

Miss Anderson is survived by her sister, Beatrice Haglund of East Greenwich, RI and many nieces and nephews. Miss Anderson is the sister of the late Edith Anderson, Helga Erickson, Ruth Peterson and was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Swan and Hulda Anderson of Worcester, formerly of Rodeby, Karlskrona, Sweden.

Calling hours will be observed at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester on Thursday evening from 7-8 pm. The Funeral will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church at 9:00 AM on Friday. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery. In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations in her memory be made to Hospice of Nursing Placement, 334 East Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
