Obituary

Worcester: Maritele Burgos, 50, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2024 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center after a short illness. She leaves 8 children- Natalie Rodriguez, Juan E Rodriguez , Briana Liriano , Mariester Rivera, Kimberly , Katherine , Victor Quiñones , and Omar Barillas : 15 grandchildren; her mother Elba Santana her brother Nino Rodriguez and her sister Awilda Burgos; and many nieces and nephews.

Maritele was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Saturnino Burgos and Elba Santana. She dedicated her life to raising her family. She enjoyed shopping, spending time outdoors, and listening to music.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (her birthday) from 11 a.m. - 12 noon in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605.
