Obituary

Boylston: Marion J. Sanders, 91, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012. She leaves a brother Raymond F. Shankle, Jr. of Boylston, many nieces and nephews grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her husband William A. Sanders in 1988 and a sister Vera M. Nichols in 2009.

Marion was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, daughter of Raymond F. and June G. (Corkum) Shankle Sr. After graduating from High School, she worked as a machine operator at U.S. Envelope for many years and then worked in the cafeteria at Boylston Elementary School. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Boylston and the Stella Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Calling hours will be held on Monday August 13, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
