Marilyn E. (Hager) Mildish, 88, of Worcester, passed away peacefully after a long illness on September 12, 2021, with family at her bedside. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Mildish in 2011.
She is survived by 4 children, Brian J. Mildish, Brenda R. Mildish and her companion Ronnie Day of Ashburnham, Michael J. Mildish of Warren, and Robert J. Mildish and his wife Tami of Hudson; 3 grandchildren, Jeremy, Garet, and Veronica; 2 step-grandchildren, Kate and Erin; 1 great-grandchild Aiden and was predeceased by 1 great-grandchild Zoe. Marilyn also leaves a sister, Beverly (Hager) Greenough and her husband Norman of Auburn, and brother Jonathan Hager and wife Caroline Leblanc of New Mexico and many truly cherished nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was born on October 25th, 1932, in Boylston, MA, daughter of Ralph and Margaret (Eckman) Hager and lived her life in Worcester.
She loved her work, helping special needs children for many years at South High School and Mill Swan School.
Marilyn had a talent for art including endeavors into painting and ceramics. She loved reading and was a lifelong member at the First Congregational Church in Worcester where she loved her Church Family and participating in the Thursday luncheons helping feed the community.
Marilyn will especially be remembered for always having a kind word and encouraging everyone she met.
The family appreciates the support from the JCH Hospice and the staff at Knollwood Nursing Center for all their care and compassion for Marilyn.
