Obituary

Worcester: Marie R. (Picard) Marin, 77, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 in St. Vincent Hospital due to complications of Covid-19. She leaves her husband of 13 years Paul R. Marin; a son Todd Conlon and a step-son Rob Marin; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Glenn Conlon and several siblings.

Marie was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Edward and Agnes Picard. She attended Fanning Trade School for Girls and worked as a clerk at the Guilford of Maine fabrics store in Douglas. She was a member of the Living Word Church and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and making masks.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Living Word Church, Tyler Prentice Drive in Worcester. All current Covid protocols will be expected. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's memory may be made to the Living Word Church.
