Obituary

Worcester: Mariam (Saez) Pacheco, 52, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus surrounded by her loving family.

Mariam was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, beloved daughter of Julio Sáez Figueroa and Milagros Salcedo Velez. Mariam leaves behind her two daughters, Ashly Marie Pacheco (27) and Natchalie Pacheco (24), her brother Julio Sáez, her life partner of 19 years "Gordo", and her stepdaughter Rebecca Ruiz (31) along with all of her grandchildren- Robby Tatro, Alexyan Hernandez, Octavia, and Arya Rivera.

She graduated from High School and worked as a cosmetologist and manufacturer at several local salons and warehouses over the years. Mariam enjoyed her family, listening to music and home projects. On beautiful summer days she could be found gardening, grilling, and caring for Robby.

Mariam was greatly loved and appreciated. With this turn of events, Mariam leaves behind a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. We are utterly grateful for the time we had with her.
