Obituary

Worcester : Maria Violeta Rosario, 59, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2023 in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She leaves a daughter Jeniece Calderon, a son Absalon Sambolin, she leaves behind her beloved parents Thomas and Luz Maria Rosario, she leaves behind her older sister Magdalena Merced and her younger brother Ivan Rosario, she also left behind 2 nephews and 8 nieces whom she loved so much.

Maria was born in Catano, Puerto Rico , daughter of Thomas Rosario and Luz Maria Cruz. She graduated from high school and worked as a driver in Keisling for many years and also in retail. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially on holidays. One of her favorite hobbies was gaming. She also enjoyed singing for God and playing her guitar. Maria was a kind hearted person that cared deeply for others. She always had a smile and made others laugh. Maria was a beautiful person. She will be greatly missed. RIP Maria Violeta

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 11:00 a.m- 12:00 noon in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery Worcester.
