Obituary

Shrewsbury - Maria E. Peterson, 78, passed away January 22, 2016, at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield. She was born in Spencer, daughter of the late Gertrude (Palin) and Ero M. Peterson. She was a 1955 graduate of Leicester High School. Maria was an electrical inspector at Sprague Electric/Allegro Micro Systems, retiring after more than 30 years of service. She is survived by her niece, Lisa (McKenzie) Brygger; nephews, James, Scott, and Steve McKenzie; and close friend, Christine Provencher and her family.

Funeral services are private. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery in the Spring. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester is directing arrangements.
