Obituary

Worcester—Margaret M. "Peggy" (Vancelette) Prefontaine, 62, of 52 Country Club Blvd. died Saturday, June 10, 2006 in Milford Regional Medical Center. She leaves a son, Michael Prefontaine of Rutland, a daughter Susan Troy of Worcester; 3 brothers, Stanley Vancelette of Amherst, NH, Richard Vancelette of Grafton, and Donald Vancelette of Worcester, 5 grandchildren, Nicholas, Alec and Benjamin Prefontaine, Joseph and Katrina Kenadek; and many nieces & nephews. She also leaves Lorna Carter of Whitinsville, a close friend of many years. A granddaughter, Ashley Kenadek, died in 2003.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Allston and Margaret (Keevan) Vancelette. She grew up and lived in Worcester most of her life and she also lived in Whitinsville for many years. She graduated from St. Peter's Central Catholic high school and was a career homemaker. She was a loving and caring mother. She was a previous member of the First Assembly of God Church and avid reader of the bible.
Funeral services will be held at the First Assembly of God Church, 30 Tyler Prentice Rd. on Tues., June 13, at 10 am. Burial is to follow in the St. John's Cemetery.
