Obituary

Shrewsbury: Margaret E. (Reiman) Serra, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2018 in Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She leaves a daughter Christine and her husband Gary Scansaroli of Worcester, 2 sons- David and Donna Marie Serra of Worcester and Stephen Serra of Shrewsbury; and 4 grandchildren- Anthony, Gino, Isabella, and Stephanie. She was predeceased by her husband Francis Serra and by her twin sister Helen Freeburn.

Margaret was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Walter and Milli (Sprungmann) Reiman. She graduated from Commerce High School and worked as a Sales Associate at the Jordan Marsh Department Store for many years. She was very proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed being with them.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Shrewsbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's name may be made to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
