Obituary

Worcester—Margaret (Baird) Lawson, 88, died Monday, January 16, 2006, at UMass Memorial Healthcare. Her husband, Walfrid J. Lawson, died in 1995. She leaves 2 sons, Ronald B. Lawson and Robert S. Lawson, both of Worcester; 1 sister, Barbara Pearson of Florida; and 1 niece, Susan Davis, of Rhode Island. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Robert P. and Mary S. (Scott) Baird. She worked for Paul Revere Insurance Co. for many years. She was a member of the United Congregational Church and its Women's Fellowship group, Thistle Lodge #2 Daughters of Scotia, and the Paul Revere Retired Women's Club.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Burial of ashes will follow in Hope Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
