Obituary

Worcester — Margaret (Languish) Jonielunas, 87, died Monday, August 24, 2009, at her home. Her husband, Adam, died in 2002. She leaves a son, Neil Jonielunas of Paulsen, AZ; 3 daughters—Barbara Ayer and Susan Jonielunas of Worcester and Patricia Swartz of Adrian, MO; and 4 grandchildren.

Margaret was born in Mitchum, Surrey, England; a daughter of Arthur and Frederica (Wassmer) Languish. Her father was an Underwriting Member of Lloyd's. Margaret spent her formative years in Sydney, Australia, returning to England in the late 1930's. She served as a Radio Operator in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force during WWII. Mrs. Jonielunas was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Saint Vincent Hospital for 30 years.

In accordance with Margaret's wishes, she was cremated. There will be a Memorial Mass at St. John's Church, 44 Temple St. at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2009. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Food Kitchen, c/o Fr. John Madden, 44 Temple St. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street.
