Obituary

Worcester: Margaret "Peggy" Rose (Cote) Levesque, 71, passed away on Friday May, 27, 2011 surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with cancer. She leaves her loving husband of 54 years, Gerard Levesque; three daughters, Karen Stanley, Lisa Tran, and Suzanne Levesque; four sons - Gerard, Richard, Kevin, and Thomas Levesque; her mother, Marie Cote; four sisters - Patricia, Laurene, Kathy, and Virginia; and three brothers - Lanny, Kenny, and Brian; as well as many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Rose Springs; a brother, Michael Cote; her mother-in-law, Doris (Jarvis) Levesque; and her father-in-law, Joseph Levesque.



Margaret, known as Peggy, was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Lawrence Cote. She was a hard worker and dedicated mother throughout her life. She enjoyed visiting St. Anne's Shrine in Sturbridge, attending flea markets, vacationing along coastal Maine, and spending time with her many grandchildren.



Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Tuesday, May 31, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral will be held on Wednesday June 1, 2011 from Nordgren Memorial Chapel with a 10:30 a.m. Mass in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. In remembrance of Peggy, the family asks that you make a contribution to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or the American Cancer Society.
