Obituary

Worcester: Louise M. (Oriol) Burch, 92, passed away on Friday, Jan. 29, 2016 at Oakdale Rehab. and Skilled Nursing Center, West Boylston, after an illness.

She was born on June 29, 1923 in Burlington, VT, the oldest child of Louis and Daisy (Salls) Oriol. She moved to Worcester at a young age and lived there her entire life. She leaves a son, Jeffrey and his wife Barbara Burch of Holden; a daughter Martha and her husband John Campbell of Kittery Point, Maine; 5 grandchildren- Christopher Campbell and wife Claire; Kary Moscardini and husband Matthew; Sara Nelson and husband Greg; and Adam and Skyla Burch; 4 great grandchildren- Jack and Claire Campbell and Luca and Marco Moscardini; a sister- Marie Knight of Brewster, MA; and many nephews and nieces. She was predecesed by a brother Eugene Oriol.

Louise graduated from North High School in 1941. She worked in the medical records department at Hahnemann Hospital for many years and for Days Inn/Lodge in the housekeeping dept. until her retirement at the age of 65. She loved spending time with family and friends, and she enjoyed her vacations to Vermont and Cape Cod. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Oakdale for the TLC they gave Louise over the years.
