Obituary

Leicester: Louise M. (Finne) Sjoblad, 88, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 in The Meadows Nursing Center after a long illness. Her husband, Rudolph A. "Rudy" Sjoblad, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters predeceased her. She leaves several nieces and nephews.

Louise was born in Worcester, daughter of Harry and Anna (Eklund) Finney. She graduated from Commerce High School and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worcester. The family wishes to extend a special sincere thank you to Dr. Christine MacGinnis and Dr. David Lyons for years of excellent care of Louise.

A graveside service and burial will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 10 a.m. in All Faiths Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester is directing arrangements.
