Obituary

Auburn—Louise (Grieco) DellaGrotta, 85, wife of the late Americo DellaGrotta, Sr., passed away June 10, 2009. She leaves a daughter, Karen St. Armand and her husband, Robert; a son, Americo DellaGrotta II and his wife, Connie; her daughter-in-law, Carol DiPanni, 8 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and nieces & nephews. A son, Christopher DiPanni and his first wife, Barbara, predeceased her. Louise was born December 7, 1923 in Providence, RI, daughter of Mary (Marwell) and Matteo Grieco. She retired from Shaw's. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at First Assembly of God, 30 Tyler Prentice Rd., Worcester, at 10 a.m., Monday, June 15, 2009. The burial and committal service will follow at 1 p.m. in St. Ann Cemetery, 72 Church St., Cranston, RI. Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester on Sunday, June 14, from 4-7 p.m.
