Obituary

Loretta A. (LaPrade) O'Connell, 90, died Friday, October 10, 2008. Her husband of 58 years, William J. O'Connell, died in 1998. She leaves two sons, William J. O'Connell and his wife Mollie and Richard R. and his wife Maureen; a daughter, Kathleen M. Romano and her life partner Gerry Ambrose—all of Worcester; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She was born in Auburn, daughter of Josephine (Cournyer) and Henry LaPrade.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 300 Lincoln St., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph/Holy Family Church, 36 Hamilton St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
