Obituary

Worcester—Lois (Van De Mark) Whitney, 72, died Monday, May 12, 2008. She leaves her husband of 54 years, Glen A. Whitney, 4 sisters, 4 sons, 16 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren and their families. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Chester and Elsie (Acker) Van De Mark. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 15, at 11:00 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. Burial will be private in All Faiths Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Good Samaritan Fund, 73 Lancaster Street, Worcester MA 01609.
