Obituary

Worcester - Linnea A. Beckman, 93, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Parson's Hill Nursing Home. She was born in Sutton, daughter of William and Anna (Sjoblom) Beckman. She leaves a brother-in-law, Carl P. Sundin of FL; three nephews, Norman Sundin of FL, William A. Beckman of Oxford, and Paul Larson of CA; three nieces, Sandra A. Erickson of Leicester, Debra J. Cifizzari of Worcester, and Julie A. Bowen of Spencer; and many grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Rudolph Beckman and two sisters, Edna (Beckman) Sundin and Lillian (Beckman) Larson.

Linnea enjoyed making crafts, baking, knitting, and crocheting. She lived for several years in Leicester with her niece, Sandra A. Erickson. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Linnea worked for many years at the Jewish Healthcare Center in the Housekeeping department where she also enjoyed spending time with the residents. She was a kind, caring, generous person who enjoyed helping others.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 29, at 10:00 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. A calling hour will be held from 9-10 a.m. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery.
