Obituary

Linda M. (Sheridan) Nelson 57, of 42 Esty Road, Princeton died Wednesday (Feb.19) in UMass Medical Center after an illness. She leaves her husband of 34 years Gary J. Nelson, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Nelson was born in Worcester daughter of Philip and Lillian (Turnquist) Sheridan and lived in this area all her life.

Mrs. Nelson was a graduate of Ascension High School and Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing where she received her RN.She began her career in nursing with the Worcester Visiting Nurses Association and then became a certified Case Manager for Saint Vincent Hospital and Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital and Outpatient Center.Mrs. Nelson was a member of Prince of Peace Parish in Princeton and the Massachusetts Nurse's Association.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 26, in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. (NordgrenMemorialChapel.com) Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
