Worcester—Lillian F. (Yates) Lambert, 73, formerly of 14 Windsor St. died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, October 22, 2004 at the University Commons. Her husband, Henry C. Lambert, Jr., died in 1993.

She leaves four sons—William, Christopher, Henry III, and Charles—all of Worcester; a daughter-in-law, Ruth R. Lambert; a brother, Howard Yates of Cherry Valley; 3 grandchildren—April Boyce, Ruth and William Lambert—all of Worcester; and several nephews and nieces. Two sons, Joseph and Anthony, predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of William and Margaret Yates. Her parents ran the Indian Trading Post in East Brookfield. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church.

Under the direction of her son, William, the funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 27, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., with a 10:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 43 Belmont St. She will be laid to rest with her husband in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 26. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the donor's choice.
