Obituary

Worcester—Lillian H. (Dougall) Scott, 82, died Friday, October 21, 2005, at Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 55 years, Robert W. Scott, Sr., died in 1998. She leaves a son, Robert W. Scott, Jr., and his wife Margaret of S. Yarmouth; a daughter, Carole A. Paskalis and her husband Thomas of Worcester; 3 granddaughters, Allison Scott Vickstrom, Victoria Scott Detschner, and Christina A. Paskalis; 2 sisters; and several nephews and nieces. A brother and sister predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of William and Adjana (Chabot) Dougall. She graduated from Worcester public schools and worked for the U.S. government in Washington D.C. before marriage. Mrs. Scott worked for the former R.H. White's Department Store for many years. She enjoyed cooking and her visits at Cape Cod. The family would like to thank Katie, Sandy, Jan, and Denyse for making it possible for Mrs. Scott to remain in her home until she passed away.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 24, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street with a Mass at her church, St. Joan of Arc, 570 Lincoln Street at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. A calling period will be held Monday starting at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home prior to the church service. Flowers may be sent or donations may be made to the donor's choice.
