Obituary

Leon D. Pierce, 70, of 5 Old Flanders Road died Sunday, February 1, 2004 at home. He leaves his wife of 41 years, Irene M. (Argraves) Pierce; 3 daughters, Ruth A. Benicek of Auburn, Sheri L. Monahan of Boylston, and Lorrie L. Helin of Westborough; his mother, Daisy F. (Kimball) Debs of Arizona; a brother, Robert K. Pierce of Arizona; a sister, Marilyn Clark of Maine; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. A brother, Franklin C. Pierce; a sister, Roberta Pierce; and a grandson, Keith G. Pierce all predeceased him.

He was born in Stoneham, son of Robert L. Pierce. He attended the First Baptist Church in Westborough.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. Calling hours will be held from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at the funeral home.
