Obituary

Sutton: Laurie M. (Miklusis) Edwards, 51, passed away following a short battle with breast cancer on Monday, June 4, 2018. She leaves her husband of 30 Years, Robert Edwards; a son Spencer J. Edwards; a daughter Elaina E. Edwards; 2 sisters, Patricia Sipos of Amherst NH and Judy Cournoyer of Worcester MA.

Laurie was born in Worcester, daughter of the late William and Mary Miklusis . She graduated from North High School and Worcester State College, earning a Masters Degree in Special Education from Framingham State College. She worked as a Kindergarten teacher in the Northbridge School System for many years. She was a member of the Sutton Congregational Church, and a member of the MA Teachers Association. She enjoyed walking with friends, reading, going to the beach and spending time with her family.

All services will be held for family and close friends. Calling hours will be on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 9-10:30 at Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester.
