Obituary

Exeter, RI: Konstantinos "Charlie" Panoutsakopoulos, 75, passed away on December 4, 2021 in South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI, following a battle with COVID-19. He leaves a son Theodoros Panoutsakopoulos of Shrewsbury; 2 daughters- Joanne Filippou and her husband Steven of RI and Christina Anderson and her husband Thomas of Millbury; 6 grandchildren- Kostadina, Adriana, Niko, George, Melina, and Josephine; a sister Lola Papadonis of Greece; a brother- Panagiotis Panoutsakopoulos and his wife Georgia of Greece; and several nieces and nephews.

Charlie was born in Vesini, Greece, son of the late Theodoros and Joanne (Tsifas) Panoutsakopoulos. He graduated from high school and worked as a carpenter for many years. He was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral. He enjoyed swimming, fishing, dancing, traveling to Greece and Cape Cod, and cooking traditional Greek food. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and working with the Twisted Pizza crew.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie's memory may be made to St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church.
