Obituary

Kevin M. Melkonian, 51, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 12, 2006. Kevin was born in Worcester, son of the late Jacob M. "Argo" Melkonian. He leaves his mother, Agnes (Jurukian) Melkonian of Worcester; a brother, David C. and his wife Mary Ann Melkonian of Worcester; a devoted sister, Sandra J. Melkonian of Worcester; 3 beautiful daughters, Melissa A. and her husband Christopher Lizewski of Spencer; Lisa A. Melkonian of Worcester; and Katelyn A. and her husband James Russell of Worcester; 3 grandchildren, Kayleigh, Jack, and Ellery; his loving fiancé, Katherine M. Kaczyk of Leicester; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was a graduate of Holy Name High School and Worcester Junior College. He owned and operated M & M Contractors. Kevin was a member and Godfather of Holy Trinity Armenian Church, a former alter boy, member of the AYF, and played church basketball. Kevin was a car enthusiast and boater, and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 18, in Holy Trinity Armenian Church, 635 Grove St., Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4-8 p.m., Monday at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester.
