Obituary

Worcester - Our Lord has graciously accepted Kenny into his Kingdom on January 12, 2013. He joins his parents Clara (Sedig) and Edwin Anderson and his siblings, who all preceded him: George W. Anderson, Vivian M. Stover, Gunhilde E. DuBois, Warren Anderson, Helen Anderson, and Agnes M. Anderson.

Kenny lived his entire life in Worcester and maintained his youthful physique by swimming, ice skating, and doing a complete workout in his home gym. Ken was awarded the Dr. B.E. Sacks award as Mr. Worcester in 1955 by the YMCA. And again in 1958 received first prize as Mr. Worcester.

He will be remembered and missed by his niece Carol and her husband Joseph Choclos as well as his friend Patrick T. Sullivan and his family, neighbors Mr. & Mrs. L. Flowers and their daughter Vicki, three nieces, and one nephew. His beloved cat Miss Misty Anderson has been adopted. Special thanks to the staff at UMass Memorial Medical Center and especially Dr. Jennifer Reidy. And also to Ms. Wendy H. Matthews and the staff at Ichabod Washburn Residence and Holy Trinity Hospice.

Private funeral services were held January 17, 2013. Interment was in All Faiths Cemetery. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street directed arrangements.
