Obituary

Worcester - Karl N. Ericson, 92, died Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Saint Vincent Hospital. His wife, Stella M. (Tamke) Ericson, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Bessie V. (Peterson) and Karl E. Ericson. He was a graduate of North High and held an MBA from Northeastern University. He worked as a systems analyst. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Karl attended the Unitarian church, was a Masonic Lodge member, and enjoyed gardening and traveling.

He leaves a son and three daughters, Priscilla Wetmore, Johnathan Ericson, Phyllis Nuccio, and Sylvia Cynewski; nine grandchildren, Amy, Sarah, Alison, Lauren, Paul Jr., John William, Karla, Rebekka, and Brita; and two great-grandchildren, Malik and Marcus. He was predeceased by two sisters, Virginia and Carol Ericson, and a granddaughter, Adriane.

Burial of ashes in All Faiths Cemetery will be held in May of 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Vincent Hospital, Cardiac Care Unit, 123 Summer St., Worcester, MA 01608. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street is directing arrangements.
