KALJO RAID, 91

Worcester- Kaljo Raid passed away Monday August 17, 2009, one day before his 92nd birthday. He leaves 2 granddaughters, Karin Fitch of Worcester, and Tara and her husband Philip Roy Jr. of Rutland; 2 great grandchildren, Sabrina Roy and Ross Fitch; his daughter-in-law, Agnes E. Kull of Worcester; a sister Inge and her husband Vova Kojalo of Rutland; Eric Fitch of Shrewsbury, and many nieces and nephews. Kaljo was predeceased by his wife, Hilda (Carg), a son Vello Kull, and by 2 sisters Mai Kestens and Aita Ilves.

Kaljo was born in Estonia, son of Ida (Sisask) and August Raid. He was educated in Estonia and came to the United States in 1951. He worked as a machinist for many years at ECC Corporation in Jefferson, MA.

Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Kaljo's name may be sent to Music Worcester Inc. 323 Main St. Worcester, MA.
