Obituary

Worcester: Julio Hernandez Roman, 87, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 in UMASS Memorial Health Care Center- University Campus. He leaves his son Julio Hernandez, Jr. his daughter in law Luz Torres; grandchildren- Betsy Hernandez and Luis Hernandez; great grandchildren- Elías Hernandez, Noah Hernandez, Excis Calderon & Narelys Calderón. He was pre-deceased by his wife Luz Maria (Manso) Hernandez.
Julio was born in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, son of the late Mateo and Alejandrina (Roman) Hernandez. He worked for many years as a carpenter for the government. He enjoyed playing dominos and listening to music.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 5-10 p.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
