Obituary

Worcester—Julia (Antaramian) Papazian, 90, died April 8, 2008, in Holy Trinity Nursing Home. Her husband, Robert K. Papazian, died in 1987. She leaves 2 sons, Stephen Papazian and his wife, Peggy, of Shrewsbury and Gregory Papazian and his wife, Lisa, of Worcester; 4 grandchildren, Robbie, Danny, and Jonathan Papazian and Christina Santana; and nephews & nieces. Two brothers, John and Papkin Antaramian, 1 sister, Armenouhi Chooljian, and a granddaughter, Jaclyn Papazian predeceased her.

She was born in Haverhill, daughter of Esther (Sartoian) and Baghdasar Antaramian. She was a member of the Armenian Church of The Martyrs, the Friendly Circle, and Order of the Eastern Star-Stella Chapter. Julia loved to sew and was an avid seamstress.

Funeral services will be held at the Armenian Church of the Martyrs, Sat., April 12th at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Fri., April 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Armenian Church of the Martyrs, 22 Ormond Street, Worcester MA 01609.
