Obituary

Worcester- Joyce Ann Joubert (Walker), 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Christopher House of Worcester surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a daughter Mary Fuentes; 3 sons- Terrance, Jerrold, and Larry Rose; a brother Jack Walker, 15 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Joyce was born in Albany, New York, daughter of Joseph and Arilla (Dunican) Walker. She enjoyed watching old television shows, especially Golden Girls and Little House on the Prairie. She had a big sweet tooth and loved eating sweets of all kind. She was a wonderful artist and fantastic drawer. Most importantly, Joyce loved spending time with her grandchildren. Having a house full of her family and friends always put a smile on her face. The family would like to thank the staff at Christopher House for their compassionate care, which made her feel like she was at home and truly loved.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 10-11am in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 11am in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. To leave an online condolence message, please click on link.
