Obituary

Boylston, MA—Josephine "Jo" E. (Sauer) Young, 82, died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at UMass Memorial University Campus. Her husband of 42 years, Edwin F. Young, died in 1987. She leaves a daughter, Suzanne J. Knight of Holden; 2 grandchildren, Kelly A. Knight of Nantucket and Kristopher R. Knight of Walpole; 2 great-grandchildren, Cody M. and Carlie Jo Knight; 2 brothers and 5 sisters, Anna M. Young, Jane C. Huggins, Oswald J. Sauer, Geraldine R. Ledoux all of Boylston, David Sauer of Millbury, June C. Stark of West Boylston, and Nancy A. Lier of Princeton; and nieces and nephews. A brother, Hans "Sonny" Sauer, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Hans G. and Anna R. (Bowler) Sauer. Jo was a member of 1st Congregational Church of Boylston and the Boylston Senior Citizen's Society.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the 1st Congregational Church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
