Obituary

Worcester: Joseph L. "Joe" Giumentaro, 61, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015, at home. He leaves 2 daughters, Leah M. Giumentaro-Cutrona and Margaret A. Giumentaro, both of NY; 3 granddaughters, Alexia M. Cutrona, Gianna V. Cutrona, and Isabella C. Cutrona; his mother, Jennie M. (Grillo) Giumentaro; a brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Chrystal Giumentaro of CT; 2 nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Joe was born in Worcester, son of the late Cosmo H. and Jennie Giumentaro. He graduated from Burncoat High School and Buffalo State University in NY. He worked as a customs broker for several different importing companies. He enjoyed soccer, hockey, and listening to Blues music.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
