Obituary

Joseph P. Fresolo, 76, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 in St. Vincent Hospital Worcester. He leaves his wife of 39 years, Harriet (Wilkinson) Fresolo; a daughter and son-in-law Susan and Anthony Ferrara of Northbridge; a granddaughter- Victoria Marie Ferrara; 2 brothers- Ronald and his wife Nancy Fresolo of New Mexico, and Richard Fresolo of Auburn; 4 sisters- Louise Tula and Dorothy Kamendulis both of Shrewsbury, Irene Fresolo of Worcester, Terese Zalieckas and her husband Anthony of Shrewsbury; a sister-in-law Pauline Fresolo of Worcester; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 sisters- Marie Bisceglia and Marjorie Duquette, a brother Rocco A. Fresolo; and a granddaughter Heidi Ferrara.

Joe was born in Worcester, son of the late Rocco and Dorothy (Bowns) Fresolo. He owned an operated J.& R. Sheet Metal Company for many years. He was a member of the Greendale Retired Men's Club and their golf league. In accordance with his wishes, Joseph generously donated his body to the UMASS Medical School Anatomical Gift Department. There are no services. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
