Obituary

John S. Wierzbicki, age 87, of Paxton, MA, formerly of East Hartford, CT, Dec. 4. Beloved husband of Helen E. (Balcezak) Wierzbicki, of Paxton. Father of Valerie Scheinfeldt, of Paxton, and the late Diane Santini. Brother of Emily Turner and Emma Oleksinski, both of Florida, and the late Chester Wierzbicki, Edward Wierzbicki, and Helen Wierzbicki. Grandfather of Jay Santini, of Rockland, MA, Marc Santini, of Randolph, MA, Tom Scheinfeldt, of Washington, D.C., and Erik Scheinfeldt, of Portland, ME. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Born in Rockville, CT, John lived most of his life in East Hartford, and graduated from East Hartford High School. A skilled machinist, he was for many years the president of Dee-Val Machine Co. in East Hartford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to Jewish Healthcare Center, Inc., 5th floor, 629 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01619.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held Tuesday 10:00 a.m in Saint Columba Church, Richard's Avenue, Paxton. Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery.
