Obituary

Worcester—John M. Lamprey, Sr., 55, died Sunday, May 13, 2007. He leaves his wife, Suann (Neiss) Lamprey; a daughter, Jessica Lamprey of West Boylston; 2 sons, John M. Lamprey, Jr., of FL and James A. Lamprey of Leominster; 5 grandchildren, Nicholas, Kevin, Jasmin, Heather, and Damian; his sister, Barbara, wife of Bruce Gamble; his Aunt Jackie Dickie; his Uncle James Dirsa; cousins, nephews, nieces, and his buddy, "Butch." He was born in Worcester, son of James E. and Geraldine (Dirsa) Lamprey. John was the manager for the Sona Motor Inn for the past 18 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, cooking, fishing, boating, and sports.

Calling hours will be held at NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 300 Lincoln Street Thursday, May 17, from 5-8 p.m. After cremation, his ashes will be scattered at sea. For directions and on-line condolences, please visit:
