Obituary

John L. Johnson, 42, of 24 Rankin Street perished in a fire at his residence on Tuesday, November 11th. He leaves his mother, Anna (Salem) Johnson with whom he lived; his father, Raymond Johnson of Princeton, WV; 3 brothers, Raymond Johnson of Swamscott, Robert Johnson of N. Oxford, and David Johnson of Oxford; a sister, Anna Webster of Auburn; nephews and nieces.

He was born in Worcester and graduated from Auburn High School and attended Quinsigamond Community College. He was a store clerk at Tatnuck Booksellers for several years. He was a member of St. George Orthodox Cathedral.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, Nov.17th in St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. A visiting period will be from 10:15-11:00 AM Monday at the Cathedral. The family requests flowers be omitted and contributions be made to St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna Street, 01604.
